Remembering Cherylin ❤️ Funeral & Memorial Fund
My mom, Cherylin Phan was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer in 2017. She put up a strong fight to survive and achieve her dreams but unfortunately she lost the battle and left us on January 13, 2021.
Her life had been difficult - immigrating to a new country when she was young, having to raise two children single-handedly, juggling multiple jobs and trying to finish her education, and finally fighting the battle for her life. Along the way she has made so many friends, students, coworkers, and loved ones showing them her kindness and care. She is the strongest, most important, selfless and independent woman that I have ever known. She had so much unconditional love to give but lived through so much pain and struggles throughout her life.
My brother and I want to be able to hold a good memorial service so that everyone that has met and loved her can join us as we say our final farewells. Arrangements had not been planned prior to her parting, but also due to the overwhelming impact of COVID we have been having trouble finding a low income way of arranging her funeral and memorial services. I know times are rough right now, and I don't expect to fully raise the amount of funds but anything at all helps and even if you are unable to donate, I would love to hear positive words or memories you had of my mom!
