Remembering Chhom Koc
Donation protected
We are remembering our beloved father, grandfather, friend and so much more. We miss you so much. All donations will be towards medical, funeral and mental expenses. Thank you so so much. With COVID-19 and the shut down, we just wish we could be together.
In 1971, Chhom Koc and Sarang Tep started their escape from the genocide in Cambodia and travelled to Thailand. On May 26th, 1981, with the help of their sponsor, they started a life in America with six of their kids; one girl and five boys. These kids, whom now I call auntie and uncle(s), brought fifteen beautiful grandkids into the world. Out of that fifteen, they created seven wonderful great grandkids. From the cold crisp Spring air of that first day to every family gathering filled with warmth, food, and laughter, the Kocs always knew how to have a good time. While he's known as a great family man, Chhom Koc was also a math teacher, volleyball coach and a basketball coach. He was one of the brightest lights in a room. Always patient, always kind. He has been through so much but never failed to show us unconditional love. To the strongest man I know... we love you, we miss you and we will always have you in our hearts.
