remembering Chris Grimes

Chris Grimes, the friend, the lover, the son but most importantly he was one of the goofiest, affectionate, considerate, and respectful human beings. Chris was always there to have fun. From sitting at the skate park, to concerts at Red Rocks there are so many pleasant memories shared among many friends and family. But unfortunately on October 10th, 2016, Chris was taken away from us all too suddenly. The news came as a huge shock to the community of Steamboat Springs, and most tragically, his mother Karen Dooley.
Savanna Clark, Calyx Ward and William Homer have set up a go-fund me page in hopes of giving Chris a beautiful memorial service. It is awful that death brings people together in time of sadness, but it is needed to help heal and move forward with optimism. Addiction is something we may not all face, but has been a tragic ending for too many in such a small town. We need to come together and change for the better and for the future of all affected. Lets celebrate the radiate human Chris showed many. Let us share his story so that we can continue to live in peace with surrounding friends.
We are hoping to raise some money in an effort to bring our community together to remember Chris, as well as help his mother Karen with some financial aid during this hard time. Any little bit helps, and appreciate all the kind words and love from everyone. RIP Chris. You are loved and never forgotten 5-8-93 to 10-10-16. If you have any further questions or concerns contact William Homer via Facebook thank you.
