Remembering Christopher’s Impact & keeping his memory alive

On the 3rd of January 2025, our community was devastated by the tragic loss of Christopher Onuorah, who was found unresponsive in the waters off Rye on the Mornington Peninsula. Despite the best efforts of emergency services, Christopher sadly passed away.

Christopher was a beacon of light to all who knew him—kind-hearted, full of life, and deeply loved by his family and friends. His untimely passing has left a void in the lives of those who cherished him.

We are raising funds to help his grieving family during this incredibly difficult time. These funds will be used to:

1. Facilitate the repatriation process to Nigeria, including flights and legal requirements.

2. Cover funeral and memorial expenses, ensuring Christopher receives the farewell he deserves.

3. Create a lasting tribute in his honor to celebrate his life and legacy.

4. Support his family in covering the costs of a traditional burial ceremony in Nigeria.
