Remembering Coach Bayram

This past weekend Coach Bayram suffered multiple cardiac events. On Monday morning, his wife Laura and his kids Abigail and Michael, heartbreakingly lost their husband and father.

 

Bayram was Coach B to so many at SOCA, Mary Baldwin College, MONU, Western Albemarle, CHS, and CvilleFC. He also spent his summers working with the UVA Men’s Soccer Camp of Champions and ETM Academy. His favorite people to play with were his OFL crew. If he wasn't coaching or playing, you would find him at "Bayram’s Corner" at Klöckner Stadium during UVA soccer season. But no matter if it was on or off the field, the one thing everyone knew about Bayram was that his heart was so big.  No matter his connection, from our local Turkish community, in construction as a master builder, an avid Birdwood golfer, to his love of salsa dancing.  He welcomed everyone and gave back to each person he met.

 

So many in our community are in shock and disbelief that this larger-than-life man could be taken from us so soon.

 

We hope all the diverse communities Bayram touched will come together to help cover the sudden loss of his income, medical bills, and funeral expenses to help his family during this tragic time.
