Remembering Daniel Sierra

On Christmas Day, December 25th, 2020 , my sister-in-law lost her other half. Her husband, Daniel Sierra, passed away very suddenly after battling COVID-19 and pneumonia.
Our whole family has been absolutely devastated by this sudden loss and had no idea that we would lose him.
He leaves behind my sister-in-law, Ruth and their beautiful eleven month old daughter, Emilia Edith. They are both absolutely heartbroken without him.
Daniel was a huge family man who always cared for his family and put them first. He loved Ruth to bits and pieces and you could see how his eyes sparkled when he looked at her. When they had Emilia, he was so happy to be her father and start a family with Ruth.
He also leaves behind his best canine companion, Yogi. Best buds from Utah to California, they went everywhere together.
During the beginning of this Pandemic back in March of 2020, Daniel and Ruth were very adamant about helping the community and giving back. They spent almost two months working on hand-making face masks for the community and assisting with getting masks to those who couldn't go out and get them. They both cared so much for their community and wanted to ensure that everyone was safe.
As a family we are completely in shambles over this unexpected passing, and have been rushing to get the entire family rapid tested for COVID so that we don't lose anyone else.
We were not financially prepared for this time of tragedy and would be so thankful for help to properly lay Daniel to rest so that his family can remember him and have time to grieve.
