Remembering Debbie Bell
Donation protected
Hi all,
My name is Devyn Thomson and I am writing on behalf of my family. Over the past 20 years and counting I have been lucky enough to have gained the most incredible chosen family. We have spent countless holidays, birthdays, weekend, and more together. The love and bond shared between all of us is indescribable. Our family lost another loved one this past week, and my hope is to support my cousin Meg and Uncle Mark as best as we can.
For reasons unknown Auntie Debbie passed away unexpectedly on January 26, 2024.
I am including Meg's Facebook post as well for all who may not have seen it. The post explains what we know so far, and they wrote a beautiful tribute in memory of their mom:
Hi everyone. It’s Meg posting from mom’s phone. I never thought that I would have to write about losing my mom, but I guess anything goes for 2024. She passed away suddenly on Friday (1/26/2024) earlier in the day. As we are waiting for autopsy reports to finally understand what took her away from me and her family, please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. We are taking things one day at a time as we are all still in shock. Thank you to everyone who has loved my mom and gave her the best 65 years of her life.
Auntie Debbie will be remembered for the infinite love she had for her family, especially her built in bestie, Meg and husband Mark. Auntie Debbie had a goofy side to her, and had the best impression of Madonna doing her Vogue dance I have ever seen. She made a mean Mac and cheese, which was always a staple for holidays and nights of having a little too much fun. It was common to see Auntie Debbie at the kitchen table catching up with her loved ones and getting life updates. She loved making Christmas cookies, and decorating them with her niece Charlotte. Her faith was strong, and it was very important to her. Above all she loved her family, and she showed that love each day in her actions and messages.
I am creating this to help Meg and Mark during this unimaginable time. The funds will help with funeral costs, the celebration of life, taking time off of work for bereavement and getting everything in order, as well as bills now that there is one less income at the moment.
We cannot thank you enough for taking the time to remember Auntie Debbie and consider helping out during this difficult time. We will be having a celebration of life in the near future, date TBA.
Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. Much love and hugs to you all.
