Funeral Expenses for Debora Wheeler

I’m starting this GoFund Me in hopes that it reaches some of our family & friends who may be able to help us. Most of you know my grandmother was diagnosed with metastatic lung cancer, about 7 months ago. She entered her eternal resting place yesterday morning & she put up a very courageous fight until the end.

At the time of her diagnosis, her husband had recently passed & the life insurance policy he had for her had lapsed because the account that it was being billed to, was now closed due to him being deceased. Contact was never made for further payment arrangements on the policy & it became inactive. A couple months later, we found out about her diagnosis & at this point, we were having a lot of trouble finding a company who wanted to insure her due to her terminal illness.

So we are reaching out in hopes that we can get some assistance from all those who knew & loved her, so we can all say our final farewells & lay her to rest appropriately. We’ll know more about the exact costs & what is required upfront once we meet with them, but we know our immediate family is in no position financially to provide the funds they are going to need.
