Remembering DeJour: A Son and Friend

It is with deep sorrow and an aching heart that we announce the tragic loss of my beloved son, DeJour "DJ" Crippen. At just 17 years old, my precious DJ was taken from us far too soon due to senseless gun violence. His untimely death has left a void that can never be filled, and I am struggling to come to terms with the pain of losing my son.

DJ was a hardworking and dedicated young man, always putting his heart into everything he did. Whether he was helping guests enjoy their time at his part time job or supporting his coworkers, his bright smile and positive energy lit up every room he entered. His kindness, his ability to lift others up, and his relentless positivity were a beacon to everyone around him. DJ made people feel special, valued, and seen, and his genuine heart touched so many. DJ had dreams of joining the Navy, and he was so determined to make a difference in the world.

In this incredibly difficult time, I am asking for your help. We are raising funds to cover funeral and memorial expenses, so we can give DJ the farewell he deserves. Any support, whether big or small, will help ease the financial burden and allow our family to focus on healing and honoring his memory.
