Remembering Donald E. Smith

From the family:

On 9/18/22 Donald Edward Smith took his last breath on this earth. Not only was he a proud veteran, but he was also an incredible father, husband, brother, grandfather, uncle, friend and musician.

While we miss him endlessly and are finding it difficult to believe we can’t just pick up the phone and talk to him, our family does take comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering. He is finally home with the Lord.

Unfortunately, Dad did not have life insurance which leaves the burden of the funeral expenses on his widow, our sweet mom.

We are asking for prayers for God’s comfort and guidance as we navigate the grieving process and for any assistance you may be able to give towards the funeral expenses.

A generous gift has already been given, leaving the balance of the funeral expenses at $2,500.

Any funds raised over that amount will go to Mom to help her pay her monthly bills as she navigates through the Social Security process.
