Remembering Edison Walter Arpag
Donation protected
Love, time, faith, and hope. How do you measure all of them? However you measure them; if you’re reading this right now, I bet you’ve wished to have more of each one of them at some point in your life.
"There's only one thing more precious than our time and that's who we spend it on." - Leo Christopher
Justine and Jason never felt these emotions stronger than when Edison left the world before he was able to bring even more love and joy to his family.
They were extended all of these gifts by a device called a Cuddle Cot. The Cuddle Cot is a cooling blanket that preserves the infant's body so that parents and families can spend more time with the child and gives them time to grieve. It works by circulating cold water to a small flexible hard pad placed under the baby. The cold pad reduces the infant’s core body temperature through direct contact. The system allows the baby to stay cool near the parents.
This device allowed Jason and Justine to spend 48 hours with Edison that would not have been possible without this amazing technology provided by URMC Labor and Delivery Unit. Access to a Cuddle Cot is limited at hospitals at this time, leaving some families without this option.
The Arpag family is asking for donations to purchase an additional Cuddle Cot for the Labor and Delivery Unit at URMC. Their hope is at least one more family will have the gifts of love, time, faith, and hope.
Through your gracious donation, we will be fortunate to purchase a Cuddle Cot in the memory of Edison Walter Arpag for future families and infants.
Their gratitude for any and all donations, no matter how small, could help them reach their goal. Their hearts will be full, with any donation you may be able to contribute.
