Remembering Edward: Support His Loved Ones

Donation protected

On Thursday December 5th 2024 Edward Jimenez started his day out like any other day driving to work. Tragically someone shot him and took his life before he ever made it to his first job in a suspected road rage incident. Our family is pleading with the public if anyone has any information to please come forward. We want justice for Edward and our family.

From Kendra Cowart
Edward was my best friend, my brother and my family. He was so special to me. He was someone I always wanted to be around and who I depended on for so much in my life.
Edward was the most laid back and chill type of person. He never met a stranger. He was the life of the party that everyone gravitated towards and the person you could depend on for anything. He could always make you laugh with all his jokes and crazy stories. He loved to travel, workout, and make music. He loved to grill and watch the Astros and UFC fights on the weekends. But most of all he loved being surrounded by his friends and family. He was and is the glue that kept our family strong. We will miss him for the rest of our lives.

From his daughter Leila Jimenez
“You always see these kinds of things on the news but you never expect it to happen to you. Seeing the video of my dad destroyed my family and myself. His name was Edward Jimenez. He had a wife and two kids who he loved so much. His whole life revolved around our family. He was an honest man who worked so hard to get to where he was in his life and to provide for our family. My dad could make anyone laugh with his many stories he loved to share. Unfortunately we’ll never be able to hear any more of his stories. There’s so much I can say about my dad but I just want everyone to know his name, Edward Jimenez, and not as the man who got shot and went to the gas station for help.”

From his wife Claudia Jimenez
He was an amazing father husband friend son colleague and beyond. He was always a morning person that I wish I still had even though I was not. His legacy will continue by his son Edward Jimenez Jr and Leila Jimenez. His kids were the biggest blessing I could ever ask for.
