Remembering Edward Wong

On 11th Nov 2020, Edward Wong Chu Siong  passed away at the age of 37 after crushed by machinery attached to the back of the tractor he was driving. His sudden and unexpected passing had left his family in Malaysia in a state of deep shock and sadness.

He is a very hardworking worker , and talented in cooking with an ambition of open his own restaurants one day in Malaysia after he had saved the money from working in the farm. He had to keep on working during the Covid season. He worked formerly as a cook in Marina Sand Bay in Singapore.


He doesn't have any immediate family member in Australia and the immediate family member unable to come to Australia due to Covid-19 restriction. He is unlikely to have any worker compensation due to him being a contract worker.

We would appreciate any form of practical help in this time as it will ease their burden greatly.

This fund will help to ensure his family can focus on their emotional grief.

This contribution will go towards the funeral arrangements and the immediate welfare of his family.
