Remembering Fred Salter

For those of you who have not seen the news, Fred Salter, tragically passed away yesterday, August 25th, doing what he loved most. Fred was a father, grandfather, friend and Fort Lauderdale local. After beating cancer, Fred never took life for granted and lived each moment to
its fullest.

Fred leaves behind 4 children Chris, Christina, Cami and Sally as well as 2 grandchildren. Before Fred's passing he was the sole care giver
for his youngest daughter Sally (14) and his granddaughter Ariel whom he has raised since birth.

If you've ever had the pleasure of meeting Fred, you would know how kind and loving he was. He valued his family and enormous group of
friends more than anything. Fred was the center of his children's universe and now they are left with the unknown.

These funds will help with the expenses of the funeral bills, and give the family some comfort during this difficult time.

ADDENDUM: I want to give a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has donated to Fred Salter's Memorial, I know if he were alive today he would be humbled by the outpouring of support from friends, neighbors and even strangers. Fred was a special person and during his time on earth he touched so many lives, including my own. That is why, with the permission and consent of his daughter Cameron Salter aka
"Cami" I , Suzanna Leiper, set up this go fund me in his honor. I wanted to make sure that the funds would not be misappropriated so I am
wiring the funds to her as needed...  Cami intends to use the funds to pay for Fred's Memorial expenses and any costs associated with his
estate while maintaining his honor and dignity.
