Remembering Gail Gese: #sunshinescholars Fund

Gail Gese recently passed away and left a lasting impact on all of us in the Kent School District community. Gail dedicated her life to education and inspiring students to reach their full potential. In addition to being an amazing educator, she also lead the Cedar Heights Middle School staff Sunshine Committee and made everyone's experience at CHMS a little brighter. In honor of Gail's memory, we have created a scholarship fund to continue her legacy.

In partnership with the Kent Community Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit, the Gail Gese Sunshine Scholars Memorial Fund will provide financial assistance to one (or more) students who embody Gail's passion for learning and commitment to making the world a brighter place for everyone. This scholarship will help Kent School District students pursue their future academic goals, and will help keep Gail's story alive for years to come.
