On 4/7/2025, our beloved Gilbert Amaro Jr. was taken from us in a tragic hit-and-run accident. While walking across the street, he was struck by a vehicle, and the driver fled the scene—leaving behind a devastated family, aching hearts, and two young children who now have to grow up without their father.

Gilbert was a kind soul, full of life, laughter, and love. But above all else, he was a devoted father to Damien and Zoee. He will never get the chance to see them grow up, but we know he’ll always be with them in spirit.

We’re raising funds to help cover the cost of his funeral expenses, support for Damien and Zoee during this painful transition, and pursue the justice Gilbert deserves. No family should have to go through this kind of pain alone, and your support—whether through donations, shares, or prayers—means more than we can ever say.
