Hit and Run Victim (RIP) Augustine Wesley Katimba

Dear Family and Friends, It is with a heavy heart that we reach out to you today to share the devastating news of the unexpected passing of Augustine.

Augustine died tragically in a hit and run accident on 1st January 2024.

He had just celebrated his milestone 30th birthday on the 31st December 2023. He went to church on new year's eve leaving his wife and two children at home because it was a cold winter's night in Montreal, Canada. Upon his return, just on the door step of his home he was struck by a vehicle. The driver drove off and fled the scene.

Augustine was a loving husband to his wife and father of two young toddlers aged one and four years. Him and his wife moved to Canada with their young family in search of better opportunities and a future.

He was a nurse who was very passionate about his profession. He worked tirelessly through the Covid pandemic putting his life on the line for his patients. He is a devoted Christian who served the Lord and enjoyed spending time in the presence of God.

Augustine's parents and family are in Africa. It is the family's wish that his remains be repatriated back to Namibia, Africa.

It is in the regard that we are kindly requesting assistance in funding the return of his body and his wife and kids flight tickets to Namibia. We also ask for your prayers during this difficult time.
