Remembering Jacob: A Fundraiser for His Loved Ones

It was a tragic day on September 26, 2024 as we lost a beloved Husband, Son, Father, brother, Tio, Nino, and cousin, Christopher Jacob Gonzalez. This tragic event has left my Tia Julia and my cousins in a difficult situation both emotionally and financially. On behalf of his wife and kids, I (his niece) created this crowdfund for them. As you can imagine, the expenses associated with funeral arrangements can be overwhelming, especially during such a challenging time. I would like to ask for your support in helping their family with these costs. If you wish to support, these donations will go towards any funeral expenses and any remaining funds will help my Tia Julia, and children throughout this difficult time.

Christopher (also known as Jacob) was a gentleman. Everyone could easily see the special love he and his wife Julia shared. Jacob grasped the importance of spending quality time with people and we can all attest to that. He enjoyed spending time with his "Babe" and his family at car shows, Dodger games, and trying out new foods. He found delight in coming over for dinner to spend time with his mom Betty where they would catch up and talk about life. He didn't say much, but he didn't have to in order to make us feel happy. He enjoyed cruising in his 1985 Buick Regal with the windows down bumping music. He loved his kids immensely and did his very best for his family. He recently got a new job as a Cook in a buffet which he loved. Jacob would oftentimes send pictures of the food he made to his sister Tania because he was so thrilled at his creations (we were too). This was his dream job, somewhere he wanted to retire.

We are all deeply saddened by this loss in our family. Tio Jacob, you will be missed by all of your loved ones.
