Remembering Janelle: A Call for Kindness

With heavy hearts, we remember Janelle Sheree Deines, a mother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend who always had a smile for everyone no matter what she was going through and battling. As we all know, Janelle would say that she was "old school" and she enjoyed dragging main while spending time with those she loved and cared deeply for. Janelle also would go out of her way for others with her acts of kindness, genuine smile, and big heart.

Janelle passed away at Trego County-Lemke Memorial Hospital on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 2:25 pm. She was 48 years old and was born on October 21, 1976, in Trego, the daughter of John Henry Deines and LeVay Sue Deines.

Janelle will be missed dearly by many friends and family, including her only daughter Angel, husband Keary Austin, and grandson Kaiden; sister Brenda Hilmes; brother Shawn Deines and wife Kerah; nieces Danielle Katt and Shawna Deines and her son, James; nephews Brandon Katt, Graeden Deines, and Hudson Deines. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and LeVay Deines, and her sister Renea Williams.

In lieu of flowers, I, Angel, Janelle's daughter, have created this GoFundMe page to have loved ones and friends donate to help raise money for Janelle's cremation services and to pay her debt expenses as she would have done the same for the ones that she loved and cared for.
