Remembering Joe Qolivi

We are raising money to help our beautiful Eta and family in this time of need.
Her son Joe, sadly lost his battle with Bone Cancer on 30/09/2020 at the age of 20.
From Sept 2019 after complaining of a lump on his thigh, Joe's fight against Cancer began.
In October he began his first round of Chemo. Before the Chemo began a PET scan showed spots on his lungs.
In January 2020, he had surgery where most of his left femur was removed. Joe was treated with a different Chemo medication to keep the spots on his lungs under control. Unfortunately this was unsuccessful.
Joe continued his brave fight by trying 2 new trial drugs. Sadly, the first trial drugs had to be stopped in June, as 2 of the 5 bubbles in his lungs had increased in size and more bubbles had formed. The second trial commenced in July and stopped in early September. Joe was sent home to be with his family as there was no other treatment available.
Joe passed away at home surrounded by his loving family.
During Joe's courageous battle, Eta had to take leave without pay from her full time job to be Joe's carer. Eta is a dedicated and devoted single mother to her 3 boys.
Eta's family are all overseas and as a result of travel restrictions, have been unable to be with Eta and the boys in their time of need.
We are trying to raise money to support Eta and the boys with impending funeral costs and any outstanding medical bills.
Any monies raised will go directly to Eta and her sons.
We appreciate your support for this worthy cause.
