Jordan Gillespie was one of a kind, you haven’t partied if you haven’t partied with his infectious laugh, heart warming smile, painful bear hugs or one of his famous ass slaps.
Jordan had a way about him that no one can put into words, for those who knew him know exactly what I’m talking about, always down for an adventure, always smiling even when he was upset.. he’s affected so many it’s unbelievable how one human can be so loved and cherished. It still seems like such a bad dream that I’m going to wake up from or Jordan’s going to walk in and tell me it was all a sick joke but it’s not, the reality of this still hasn’t hit me completely but it just breaks my heart into a billion pieces that I feel like only one of Jordan’s hugs will put back together as he squeezes you so hard your eyes feel they’re going to pop.
Jordan was one hell of a guy that so many had the pleasure of knowing, and for those you of who didn’t you can’t imagine the fun you’ve missed out on. The first time I had the blessing of meeting Jordan was in October of 2016, at a barrie club through mutual friends. I wasn’t ready for the energy that guy had nor was I expecting half the shit that came out of his mouth, but let me tell you something no matter how many times I thought to myself “what the fuck did he just say?” I was still laughing to the point it hurt my stomach and I had tears in my eyes. Walking out of that club and watching him smile and laugh with the guys instantly made me fall in love with his soul, he was so pure. Such a short amount of time I knew him but so filled with amazing memories.
It breaks my heart when I go through my photos and don’t see any photos of us together, but I still have hundreds of him and his gorgeous smile or him just doing fucked up funny shit because he truly was the life of every party.
It fills my heart with love but also breaks my heart going through my newsfeed and seeing so many people sharing photos and stories of this amazing guy. I am so sorry to those who have lost him and I am even more sorry to those who never had the chance to share a drink with him.
Jordan Gillespie is loved by all who crossed paths with him, scrolling through his facebook is miles and miles of people posting the happiest memories and their new found heart break at this such un-expected news. Every photo you see of Jordan he has the biggest smile on his face or his arms around his buddies, the amount of love shared by all for this boy is unbelievable. Jordan was the type of person to put you before himself no matter the circumstances, always ready to help a friend and always a listening ear even if you were stranger. Many of you who have met Jordan was most likely at a party and became close over one of his famous heart to hearts, they didn't always have the best advice or any advice at all for that matter but they still made you feel so much better.
Jordan passed away suddenly on January 1st 2019 in his family home, this go fund me account has been created to help cover the expenses the family has now taken on. Every donation will help and the Gillespie family thanks you all for taking the time to help out and share the love Jordan spread.
