Remembering Kathy Brochu

Hi, my name is Rebecca and I am fundraising in honor of my mother Kathy.

After a long hospital stay and a brutal battle against infection and kidney failure, Mama has passed. She was a fighter until the very end and stronger than any one person should have ever had to be. She fought her way back from the edge over and over again until, finally, her body could no longer keep up with her spirit.

There are no real words to describe this kind of loss, the way it hollows the people left behind out.

All that we can do is remember her, hold her close to our hearts, and then try to press forward.

To honor her by handling things as she would have wanted them to be handled.

As such I am fundraising for Mama's final expenses, to make sure that she can rest easy without any worries about who and what she left behind.
