Remembering Kayla: Support Her Family

Many family and friends of the Borbas have asked how they can honor Kayla’s memory and support their family as they navigate this heartbreaking journey.

We have established this page for those who wish to help with memorial/celebration of life expenses but please know that your prayers are more than enough.

Kayla was such a beautiful amazing young lady, smart, creative, funny and giving. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved being a big sister to her younger brother Kyle and often helped with his ABA therapy for autism therapy. Her big heart did not end there. Her smile and love for God would light up a room and she loved sharing everything she knew about Jesus and Animals.

She loved playing soccer and watching the US National and LA Galaxy games with her family when she wasn’t playing or practicing.

What we wouldn’t do for 20 more seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, and of course years. I was looking forward to having you change our diapers. We will cherish every second we had with you. We will remember every smile, your golden brown hair, how you said “Mama” and the way you loved back.

We can't wait to hear how your 21st birthday was in heaven. I hear Heaven has the best wine in the house. Enjoy it with the friends and family up there, we are sure it will be epic with a sense of humor.

God has called his Angel home. Do not be sad - be cheerful, do not be mad - rejoice for she is with our glorious father in heaven.

We love you Kayla more than words can ever capture. Your spirit, unfiltered love, kindness, beautiful eyes and amazing hugs will be cherished and greatly missed.
