Remembering Lisa Dye-Hudson

Those who had the pleasure of meeting Lisa truly had the biggest blessing in their life. From her wittiness and laughter to her willingness to help out any and everyone, she had a heart of gold. When you spoke to her, whether in person or on the phone, she would address you as "lovey" or "puddin" as if you instantly became family which truly, everyone she came in contact with was her family.
Lisa loved her Scott. Two soul mates that were high school sweethearts. The love they had is one that many would dream about. She loved her family just as much. She would do anything to be there for them no matter what. Her selflessness was not only for her family, but friends as well.
She was a true busy body! She always loved cooking, canning, making jelly/jams, gardening, creating/making her Halloween costumes and entering into the fair with arts and crafts and different items from her garden like her pumpkins. She loved decorating for the holidays and making sure that all of the family participated in events like Easter - she hid eggs with money for the family to search and find on her property. Lisa loved having fun and doing what made her happy.
Lisa was a light that shined; she had an energetic and infectious personality and a deep care and concern for others. Her smile was radiant and her spirit was contagious. We are all feeling the loss of her, but have been blessed to have met her. If anything, she lives on within all of us and gives us goal of being an inspiration, caregiver, lover of people and to treat others with respect and love no matter the circumstances.
This GoFundMe is being set up to help Scott (her amazing husband) and the family get a headstone for Lisa. He said wanted to have a beautiful one for her and I am sure we all agree. Her beauty radiated inside and out and the place where she is laid to rest should be just as radiant.
Any help would be great and really, if you donate, a part of you will always be with her, outside of the memories she has given to us all.
Thanks!
