Remembering Louise: A Life of Service, Love & Music
Donation protected
“Service Date & location is to be determined” Tuesday night, our beloved Louise Rodney “Tempest,” a cherished radio personality at WMNF and dedicated nurse in Tampa Bay, passed away. She was more than a voice on the airwaves or a caregiver in scrubs—she was a beacon of love, strength, and connection to all who knew her.
Throughout her life, she gave tirelessly to her community, whether through her heartfelt broadcasts that uplifted us or her unwavering compassion for patients as a nurse. Her impact on Tampa Bay was profound, and her presence will be deeply missed.
As we navigate this difficult time, we are reaching out to her community, her tribe, for support. We aim to honor her legacy with a beautiful memorial or cremation service that reflects her vibrant spirit and the love she poured into every aspect of her life.
We are seeking contributions to help cover the following:
• Funeral or cremation expenses.
• Memorial service arrangements.
• Any other unforeseen costs related to her passing.
Every donation, no matter the size, will bring us closer to giving her the tribute she truly deserves. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this campaign to help spread the word.
We are so grateful for your love, support, and prayers during this time. Your kindness means the world to us, and we know Louise, aka Tempest, would feel the same.
Thank you for helping us honor her life and the legacy she leaves behind.
With gratitude,
The Rodney Family
