Honoring Mark's Legacy of Kindness

On December 10th, our family suffered an unbearable loss and will never be the same.
Mark was a beacon of light in our family, in his community, and in this world. He was an amazing husband, father to Shelley, Hannah & John, grandfather of 3, son, brother, uncle, cousin & friend. He was everything, and he meant the world to us. He was kind to everyone he met and spent his life serving others, never asking for anything in return. Making people smile with his amazing pottery, showing unwavering compassion to anyone in need, and loving his family and friends were his mission in life. To know him was an absolute blessing. Losing Mark so suddenly has shaken our family to its core.
Mark worked so hard to support his family and all those he loved. He was always ready and willing to help someone in need. He volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul, feeding the community for over 25 years, and worked tirelessly coordinating the Empty Bowls fundraiser to raise money to support those efforts. No matter how big the task was or how hard things got, he NEVER stopped smiling and exuding positivity and love.
As we begin to navigate this extremely difficult time and adjust to life without him, we humbly ask for support from family, friends, and all those who knew and loved Mark as much as we did. The expenses for end-of-life services can be overwhelming, especially when the loss is unexpected and so sudden. The support from family, friends, and his community will help fund those end-of-life services as well as provide continued support to his loving wife Shawna and his young children Hannah & John.
Your prayers, support, and the outpouring of love our family has received mean so much to us, and we are all eternally grateful.
