Michael Keas was a kind and generous man who touched the lives of everyone who knew him. His sudden passing has left his family not only grieving an immense loss but also facing the unexpected burden of memorial costs. In moments like this, your compassion can make all the difference. Instead of simply hitting the like button, we invite you to take action and help honor Michael’s legacy by supporting his family during this challenging time. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward easing their financial strain and allowing them to focus on healing. Let’s come together to show that love and kindness can move beyond words. Your generosity will truly mean the world to the Keas family.
A Message from Matthew
It deeply saddens me to share that on the afternoon of January 5th, my dad, Michael Keas, passed away from a heart attack. For those who know me well, you know how close my dad and I were. He was a remarkable man who loved people, loved to laugh, loved to serve, and was truly a gem of a person.
My family and I are devastated. We didn’t see this coming at all, and we are truly heartbroken. That said, we are incredibly grateful for the time we did have with him. My dad was a stand-up guy who meant so much to us, his friends, his church, and his community.
I am deeply saddened, but at the same time, I feel a sense of contentment because I know my dad gave me everything he had. He gave me his time, taught me lessons, always listened, and encouraged me to question and learn. He will be profoundly missed.
My dad made many friends throughout his life and touched countless lives. Though he is no longer with us, I want to encourage everyone who knew and loved him to carry on his legacy of love, service, integrity, humor, and more in your own lives.
Romans 12:15 calls us to “mourn with those who mourn,” and in this moment, my mom, brother, and our wives ask for your prayers and your presence as we mourn together.
