Remembering Neil Piercey

Friends, as many of you know, we lost my dad suddenly on Thursday afternoon. My dad was the kind of person who would do anything for anyone. He lived a simple life; he raised Dylan and me, worked hard and cherished my mom. To both of them, money has never been important, because the money comes and money goes, but his passing has left my mom in a crisis.

Five months ago, my parents canceled their insurance after paying it for 40 years because, in retirement, they could not afford the payment. Now my mom is in a position where she has lost her partner and cannot afford to live in the house they've called home for over 30 years.
