Remembering Olga Velez

El 15 de febrero 2024 se nos fue nuestra mamá,abuela, hermana, tía, amiga, consejera y mucho más. Su despedida fue inesperada. Sus puertas siempre estuvieron abiertas para todos y todas. Nunca le gusto demostrar que necesitaba ayuda por que no le gustaba molestar (según ella). Sabemos que siempre estará con nosotros.

Muchos nos han preguntado como pueden ayudarnos en estos momentos tan difíciles. Pues nos gustaría poder darle una despedida como la que ella se merecía. Con la ayuda de ustedes se nos hará posible. Gracias a todos por su cooperación.

We are heartbroken at the passing of our much loved Olga velez. She passed peacefully on Thursday February 15th.

Her home welcomed family & friends daily. They always left with a thermos of hot coffee, a full belly and their troubles a little lighter. She was a safe place, a keeper of secrets & a small but mighty force to be reckoned with. She never wanted to be a burden to anyone. We know that she will always be looking down on us.

Many of you have asked how you can help our family during this difficult time. Any donations are greatly appreciated. She deserves the best farewell we could give her. Something to show how much she was deeply appreciated. Thank you for your cooperation
