Our Beloved Alex

It is with a heavy heart that we share the tragic news that my husband, Alex took his own Life.
Only 29 he was a beautiful, loving and big hearted man. A devoted father to our amazing 3 sons all under the age of 7 years old.
The boys were his life, his everything, which is why none of this makes sense. Our family is in shock and numb.
If you knew Alex you know he was hard working, caring, and always had a smile that was gentle. To lose him in such a way is an absolute tragedy.
Now faced with raising 3 young children as a single mother I was encouraged to create this page as we want to bring light to the suicide epidemic. Such a permanent decision often made because of a temporary problem which has life long devastating outcomes that has left us shattered.
The pain is real. Knowing that my children will never know the joy of running down the hall when daddy gets homes breaks my heart in the most indescribable way.
Lives are built with the outlook that both parents will be there to provide for the family. And no young person like me, expected to lose a partner at such a young age.
I’m currently in school; expected to graduate in May. Alex was our sole provider which is why I’m hoping to raise funds to help defray costs in the coming months and years to come.
Our son will need support to get him through the trauma of finding his dad deceased.
We would appreciate it if you share this page with the hope that our family story is met with compassion, understanding and abundant generosity.
We would also like to draw light to the issue of suicide and hope that this page reaches someone who may be feeling like there is no hope and we would like to let you know that there is.
Suicide is a permanent solution to an often temporary problem and your life has so much value and purpose so we encourage you to speak to someone who can help you navigate your journey.
Please think about the pain our children will endure if you make a decision like this one.
There is hope…. We promise you are not alone.
Thank you.
