Remembering Randy McClendon
Donation protected
Dear Workers’ Compensation Community:
As many of you may know, our dear Randy McClendon recently passed away unexpectedly. Randy was a well-respected defense attorney in the Northern California area. Nearly everyone’s response was that Randy always brought a smile to their face. That is just so true. Randy was a kind and bright hearted person and he truly did make everyone smile and laugh. Randy was a shareholder and integral part of Cuneo, Black, Ward and Missler where he worked from 2008 until his passing; he was also a Certified Specialist.
Randy leaves behind two young sons, Ian and Drew, who plan on pursuing higher education. Please consider making a donation to this fundraiser in support of that goal.
Fun facts and anecdotes about Randy:
He once nicknamed Justin Carter “sugar.”
He belonged to/created the Facebook page American Sasquatch Society. I'll let you think on that one.
Eddie Bauer remembers him fondly as one of his very first codefendants over 20 years ago.
“The most outsized thing about Randy was his smile, his laugh, and his sense of humor. I never had a conversation with Randy where he didn’t make me laugh. And after his children were born, I never had a conversation with him where he wasn’t talking about his children with the unbridled love of a proud father.” Lisa Daly-Pshide
"I just know he would light up the room. If you didn't walk in with a smile, you were definitely leaving with one. He was full of laughter and just brightened the day." Patti Gonzalez
A three-fer!
“He told Adam Krone in our office to call a client back named Myra Mains and when Adam called and asked for them it was funeral home.”
“He created the Chewbacca roar contest and put flyers around town with Chris Wagner’s phone number on it and people would call to leave their best Chewbacca impression.”
“He got proudly banned from Facebook 3 separate time for inappropriate posts.”
