Remembering Ray Anselmi

On January 26, I received a nervous phone call from Rays wife, Paulette.  She anxiously told us that Tony’s brother, Ray had been taken into the hospital by ambulance.  She said “He was pretty sick”. 

Upon arrival they diagnosed him with bilateral pneumonia and sepsis. The doctors immediately put Ray into an induced coma as well as all systems on life support. 

It was a rough next couple of days. The doctors struggled to keep Ray alive. They felt they had him stable and looked to making some progress despite his lungs collapsing. 

Day 13 in the hospital Ray developed a Fungus in his blood. That was it, Paulette was going to lose her husband and Little Jon was going to lose his dad. On Day 14 Ray lost the fight. 

Ray and Paulette were not financially in the best oftimes before this. And the situation has only worsened in its aftermath. Paulette is left with no car, no home, no insurance, and no way to even pay for Rays Funeral. She needs our help. 

Please help us get her back on her feet and in a position where she can move down to Florida so we can better assist her and Jon.
