Remembering Rich: Father and Artist
Donation protected
Our immensely beloved father and friend, Richard—known affectionately as Born Rich, NoPhilter, and Big Sherm—has been taken from us far too soon. His radiant spirit touched the lives of so many, leaving an indelible mark on our hearts. Richard's charismatic personality and infectious energy will never be forgotten. He was a beacon of light, and his creative passions—a testament to his vibrant soul—will continue to inspire us all. Whether through music, drawing, or his recent journey into tattooing, he poured his heart into everything he did, finding purpose and joy in his artistry.
Above all, Richard was a devoted father. His children were his world, and the love he had for them was boundless. As we navigate this profound loss, the weight of his absence is felt deeply, especially as our children, aged 7, 12, and 14, face a future without their father's guiding presence. The grief is overwhelming, and the void he leaves behind is immeasurable.
Richard was more than just a father or a friend; he was a source of inspiration and joy for everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His laughter could light up a room, and his kindness knew no bounds. Whether he was sharing stories or lending a helping hand, he had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel valued and loved.
In the midst of this heartache, we find ourselves needing to raise at least $7,000 to cover the funeral costs. While the financial aspect of this tragedy is difficult to confront, it is essential that we provide Richard with the care and dignity he deserves in his final moments. Any funds raised beyond the funeral expenses will be dedicated to ensuring his children are well taken care of, honoring the legacy of love he instilled in them.
Our family is struggling to understand this loss and all that it entails. We appreciate any support during this challenging time as we come together to celebrate Richard’s life and the lasting impact he made on each of us. Thank you for being a part of this journey with us.
