Remembering Roger Darnell Callahan Jr

Hi my name is Leroy Callahan.I created this account in order to help raise funds for my nephew Roger Darnell Callahan Jr funeral expenses.On May 20 ,2023 Roger Darnell Callahan was a victim of a hit in run . The incident occured on 63rd & El Cajon Blvd at approximently 5 am in the morning .The driver of the vehicle got out of his car to drag Roger body off road,then fled the scene. He was taken to a local hospital with severe interenal bleeding , A shattered pelvis and multiple abrasions. Not to mention countless life saving blood tranfusions. He was placed in a induced coma, where he regained consciousness . However he later succumbed to his injuries...At this time our family is having finanacial hardship, and were reaching out to the public .Our goal is to cover all funeral and burial costs.

Roger was a kind hearted, soft spoken ,individual who stood tall with an unforgettable smile.He cherished his family and loved spending quality time with us. Whether it be indoor or outdoor rain, sleet, or snow Darnell never complained a bit. He always had a positve outlook on life,and was verry uplifting to us all . We cherish the memories and times we shared with him.Allthough he is not here physically , his spirit forever lives on through each and every one of us. Gone but never forgotten. REST IN PARADISE!!!
