Remembering Russell: A Tribute to our Beloved Friend

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the loss of our beloved Russell Jackson, a cherished member of the Fitler family.

Russ was an extraordinary bartender and boxing instructor who brought immense joy and passion to our community for the past three years. His memory will forever be etched in the heart and soul of Fitler Club.

Russ was not just a colleague; he was a friend who embodied energy, enthusiasm, and unwavering support for everyone around him. He gave his all every single day, making him treasured by coworkers and members alike. His magnetic personality drew people in, making them want to spend time with him, listen to his stories, and share countless laughs.

To honor Russ's legacy and the deep bonds he formed within our community, we are launching this campaign to support his boxing gym, Grays Ferry Boxing Club, which was close to his heart.

The funds support their Kids Boxing Program, which is a free program run on donations. They will be used toward keeping the gym operational and the day-to-day essential equipment needed to ensure a quality learning experience for their children. They are especially in need of a new ring canvas. The program has been running for 15 years and has supported hundreds of children. They pride themselves on never having turned away a child. Every donation will go a long way to helping support them.
