Remembering Sam Gandee

Today we received some very heartbreaking news that we didn’t expect to get. Sam Gandee unexpectedly passed away last night. While this has caused unimaginable emotional distress, her mother is now left with the financial burden of having to provide funeral expenses for her daughter, something no mother should ever have to do.

Sam was a great friend and person in general. Every time you encountered her she always had a smile on her face and laughing. She would do anything for anybody. She was a dedicated member at Dooms Volunteer Fire Department where she spent countless hours helping others. She continued her passion of helping others as a EMT at Augusta Health. You could count on her to have your back without any judgement or questions asked.

When you are part of fire, rescue and health care you gain a second family and a bond that can’t be broken.
