Remembering Sean McHugh
It is with deep sadness that we share the unexpected and sudden passing of Sean McHugh on August 17, 2021. Sean was an extremely bright, caring, creative, and charismatic 22-year-old who always went out of his way to help his friends and family. It is in this same spirit of generosity and kindness that is so characteristic of Sean that we would like to support the beloved McHugh family through this difficult time.
As most young college students, Sean was exploring his interests and navigating his career path. Sean was studying in college to be a therapist and wanted to work with autistic children and find ways to help those who struggle in different ways. Unfortunately, because of his untimely passing, he could not fulfill that dream of his. Therefore, as a way to continue on his dream, your contributions will go directly to the McHugh family, who will then donate a percentage of GoFundMe funds to an organization that supports and assists the autistic in Sean’s
name. Sean had such a kind heart and was following in the footsteps of his parents who are both teachers for the blind.
Thank you in advance for your consideration of donating to help carry on Sean’s wishes to help the autistic as well as offset memorial costs for the McHugh family. As many of you may be feeling, we were at a loss of how to provide help to the McHugh family during this unimaginable and stressful time. As a way to help the McHughs, we thought that the practicality of monetary support would truly assist them. The McHughs would never ask for help like this, which is why we are doing this. Through GoFundMe, we can help the McHugh family in a way that will bring immediate assistance and lasting effects. As Helen Keller wisely expressed, “Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much.”
