Remembering Shannon casey

I decided to set up this fundraiser for my sister Shannon to help with medical expenses /funeral cost and if enough ,help out her young daughter who just enter her adult life losing her best friend. My sister worked in hospice taken care of hundreds of family loved ones in their end of life stages. . So many times they called her an angel and said she was heaven sent with the way she respected and cared for them till the very end. Family members would give her angel wing pendants over and over. well Saturday afternoon my sister got her own wings as she was called to heaven. she always cried to me over the loss of her patients as she got really attached to them. She loved her job helping them and the family adjust. My sister biggest passion was her daughter Sade and being a single mom she work up to 3 jobs at a time and even with me on the weekends just to make sure her daughter had everything she needed while she was off in collage on a basketball scholarship. She was her daughters biggest fan and the two of them shared a unbreakable bond. Shannon touched so many people with her positive attitude and would light up a room just by walking into it. She even took in her 13year old nephew to raise him without hesitation As you can imagine the sudden loss of Shannon has the entire family devastated. The world feels alittle colder without her in it. She believed in giving and saving lives which is why she was a organ doner. It truly amazed me how she put everyone else first and she never really wanted material things in life. She'd always tell me in the end it doesn't matter what you have joe,it's the change you can make in this world by helping people that really matters most.
