Remembering Stephanie Hardin: Support for Her Family
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Community,
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our friend and neighbor, Stephanie Hardin, who courageously battled ovarian cancer. Stephanie leaves behind her beloved husband and best friend James, and their cherished children, Morgan (11) and Carson (7). Her journey with cancer was marked by unwavering strength and resilience, yet despite her courageous fight, she left this earth on June 11th, 2024. Stephanie was 34 years old.
Stephanie's journey began unexpectedly this spring on March 29th, 2024, during an ER visit for what she thought was appendicitis. It was quickly discovered that Stephanie had a rare and aggressive form of small-cell carcinoma of the ovary. Throughout her treatment at St. Luke’s, she faced countless challenges with remarkable bravery and grace. Despite the pain and setbacks, Stephanie found comfort in the love of her family, friends, and the support of her nursing community.
A highlight in Stephanie's final days was the visit from her nursing program at Moraine Park Technical College. Stephanie had been tirelessly working towards her nursing degree and was only weeks away from graduating when she received her devastating diagnosis. In a touching gesture, the team from Moraine Park came to her hospital bed to present her with her associate degree in nursing diploma and hold her official pinning ceremony, fulfilling her lifelong dream. Stephanie had an unwavering drive to help people and especially found joy in taking care of the elderly population. Her impact cannot be understated.
As Stephanie's family navigates this profound loss, we are reaching out for your support. The financial strain that the family has incurred since March and the future stability for Morgan and Carson weighs heavily on James during this difficult time. Your generous donations will help alleviate these financial burdens, allowing the family to focus on healing and honoring Stephanie's memory.
Your contributions will directly support:
• Medical Bills: Covering expenses from Stephanie's treatments and hospital stays.
• Funeral Services: Ensuring Stephanie receives a respectful and loving farewell.
• College Funds for Morgan and Carson: Providing for their future education, including Morgan's and Carson's college funds.
Your support, prayers, and kind thoughts are deeply appreciated by the Hardin family as they navigate this profound loss. Go Fund Me is a secure way to show your support, however, if you would like to donate directly to the family or in other ways please reach out to Stephanie Hayes and she will assist with connecting you with James. Please consider donating and sharing this campaign with others who may wish to help.
Thank you for honoring Stephanie's memory and for standing with her family during this challenging time.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Stephanie Hayes & Stacy Foeger
