Remembering Susan Moffatt

It is with great sadness that we share the unexpected passing of Susan Moffatt on Monday, December 19th.

"Suzie," as her friends and family fondly called her, was such a beautiful ray of sunshine. She was an incredible mother and an amazing friend to many.

She touched the lives of all those that were blessed enough to cross paths with her, undoubtedly changing us all for the better. While the world is never ready to lose someone like Susan, they have gained an Angel in Heaven along with her kind heart, comforting energy, unwavering patience, and warm laugh - a laugh that will remain with us forever.

The days, weeks, and months to come will be anything but easy for the family, especially Ava, her daughter. Many have asked how to help during this devastating and unfathomable time, and we thank you for that. Any funds raised will be given to the family to use for medical bills, funeral costs, and for whatever needs Ava will have in the upcoming future.

Please know that the Johnson and Moffatt families are receiving all your thoughts, prayers, and messages. We appreciate the love and support we’ve been receiving from this tight-knit community that Susan was able to create.

It’s amazing to see just how many of you have been touched and whose lives have been impacted from a single person, someone who we were lucky enough to call family. The stories you’re all sharing make this situation a little more bearable. We know that not only will she be missed by us, but she will be missed, loved, and mourned for by so many others.

We again ask that you keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate through this difficult holiday season.
