Remembering the life of Christopher Sabol

Donation protected
On September 12, 2023 my best friend Chris Sabol passed away in a motorcycle accident in Prospect, Maine. He was a little more than a month away from his 23rd birthday and only months away from becoming a father for the first time. I've spent a lot of time trying to not only process what has happened, but find an effective way to express what a good friend Chris was. A lot of friends come and go throughout your life, and then there's some friends that stick around forever. Chris was a forever friend; the kind of friend who would always be there for you when you needed them.

Chris had a multitude of hobbies and passions, many of which we ended up sharing. He could tell you everything you could ever want to know about every football player whose name ever appeared on an NFL roster, or how to fix just about any mechanical issue your car could ever have without even thinking about it. His worry-free lifestyle coupled with his ability to add humor to any situation helped get me through some tough situations of my own, and I know if he was here now, we'd all be laughing too hard at some joke or story of his to feel any form of sorrow. And so I say to anyone who may know him: let's not be sad when we share our memories of Chris. I can't think of a time when he was around where we weren't cracking up or having fun. So let the fun memories he left behind continue to bring us happiness and never forget the moments we were privileged to share with him.

There is no amount of money that could come close to replacing your best friend or a loved one, but I hope to come up with enough to alleviate some of the financial stress following Chris's passing so that his family is able to focus more energy towards coming together and remembering him. Very shortly before Chris's passing he and his girlfriend Mckenzie found out that they would be parents - something I cannot even begin to imagine experiencing without my partner. Any donations would be greatly appreciated and will given directly to Mckenzie or Chris's mother Trudy to do as they see fit with them.

There will be a celebration of life on 9/16/23 at 1:00pm at 1675 Mariaville Rd in Mariaville, ME for anyone who wishes to attend.
