Remembering the Life of Juan Saenz

Our dad, Juan Saenz, is a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather and friend to many.  He was affectionately known as Papa and Pops.  Our dad always lived his life to the fullest. I remember anytime our dad drove around, he would have the windows rolled down, cigarette in hand, blasting his favorite songs.  He could be caught listening to Santana, Queen, Led Zeppelin and the latest hits from the radio. A few days before Thanksgiving, our Papa was admitted into the hospital with pneumonia and tested positive for Covid. For the next month his progression in the hospital varied from day to day. His health began to decline rapidly causing  his organs to fail which was due to lack of oxygenation. We spent his final weeks reminiscing about our favorite memories of him, video calling him so that he could hear our voices, and praying for comfort & healing.  On Christmas Eve, our Papa was no longer able to fight since his body was not strong enough. He leaves behind ten children (Dominic, Nina, Erica, Marisa, Leti, Lilly Laura, Joey, Vinnie, and Angelina), a granddaughter (Elena) and a long time partner, Liz. We are seeking financial help with burial expenses and medical costs so that we can give him a proper memorial to honor and remember his life.
