Remembering the life of Marcus Papanikolaou

Our two dear friends Christina and Pete (Papas)Papanikolaou lost their precious 17 year-old son Marcus on Friday, October 13th to a fatal car crash. As you can imagine this is any parents worst nightmare, but he has a young brother Maximus, whose live too will never be the same. A parent can never plan for the loss of a child, and no one can even imagine the pain they are in. We are asking for donations to help this loving family with funeral expenses and to help them manage their necessary life expenditures over the next few months so they can stay home as they grieve the loss of their son and continue to provide for and support his brother. During this hard time, they shouldn’t need to worry about anything other than healing their broken hearts. Pete and Kristina are amazing loving parents who work really hard so that their children could thrive. Please donate to help this family have the time they need to heal. Obituary

Marcus Papanikolaou, beloved son of Pete and Christina Papanikolaou, passed away on October 13th, 2023. He was a loving brother to Maximus and held dear by his grandparents Simizar and Ivan, as well as Vasiliki and George. Marcus will also be deeply missed by his aunts, Sofia and Olympia and uncles, George and Chris, along with numerous loving relatives and friends.

A viewing and service in honor of Marcus will be held on October 18th from 10 AM to 12 PM at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church located at 6501 Bustleton Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19149. Following the service, internment will take place at All Saints Cemetery in Newtown located at 291 Durham Road, Newtown, PA 18940.

Marcus will be remembered for his warm heart, kind spirit, and the joy he brought to those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
