Remembering Theresa's Kind Heart

My name is Lacy and my sister's name is Rosie. Her mom, Theresa Velez (who was like my mom also), took me in when my mom left me out in the streets when I was very young. She loved everyone, and she enjoyed cooking for everyone. Anyone who ate her food fell in love. She worked in the community center in Brooklyn for over 30 years and had a beautiful personality but didn't take any BS from anyone. She left behind her three kids, lots of grandkids and great-grandkids, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, and her ace!!!

She suddenly passed away on April 19th, 2025, and the high cost of funeral services is a huge point of stress for many families who have lost a loved one. We are asking for any help.
