Remembering Tommy Nguyen

Sadly, we unexpectedly lost Tommy Nguyen on Thursday, February 11, 2021. He was 36 years old.
Tommy was born January 19, 1985. He grew up on Houston’s Southeast side where he went to Moore Elementary, Beverly Hills Intermediate, and Dobie High school, graduating in 2003. During those years, he was involved in the church, band, and had a passion for cars and motorcycles. After graduation, He served in the US Army.
Tommy was always a hard worker and worked to take care of those he loved and to enjoy life. He had a passion for wine and reveled in knowing different types of wines, where they came from, and their histories. He also continued his passion for vehicles in general and many of us knew he loved riding his motorcycles, and was excitedly working on fixing up his vintage GM. He liked to make people laugh with his corny, sarcastic jokes and would sometimes laugh at his own jokes and we’d facepalm.
Tommy leaves behind his loving and devoted girlfriend, Melanie Thompson, his parents John and Kim Nguyen, siblings Anthony and Anna, and a 6-year old daughter, Willow.
We are raising money to help cover funeral costs, set up a trust fund for his daughter, and any final expenses that we need to settle.
