Remembering Tyler Ballance

Tyler Ballance lost his life on January 9th, 2021 while fishing on the Bay of Quinte. 

He was a vibrant, loving and caring young man, whose life was taken from him way too soon! Tyler had many friends, family and a community that loved him beyond the stars. He was an avid angler and hunter, always willing to teach, walk along side of, and show the ropes of the sports to anyone who was wanting to learn.

An amazing young man, with a heart of pure gold, Tyler will be mourned, missed and always loved by so many!

As friends and family mourn the shocking news of his passing; we, his friends and community have decided that we would like to place a memorial bench in Tyler's memory and honour, with the location to be determined by his family. There will be a specific and special structure to the bench,  to suit Tyler and all that he was!


We are requesting donations to help us make this happen. Any funds raised beyond the cost of manufacturing and installing the memorial will be given to Tyler's family to help cover accumulating costs associated with this tragic loss.
