Remembering Virgil Reichert's Legacy

Virgil Reichert was a loving father, husband, brother and friend. He touched all of those that he met with the Light of God and shared the truth of the gospel with anyone that he could. It is with extreme heartbreak that we share that the Lord called Virgil home much too soon on October 2nd, 2019 at only 57 years old. Virgil passed away from hypertension (extremely high blood pressure) and the damage that it caused to his body. His loss is sudden and devastating to all who knew him, especially his wife Kami of 32 years and his son Joshua.
Virgil always put his family first; whether it was cooking for his wife every day, helping widowers at church, or giving free oil changes to his kids (Joshua is married to Rachel). He loved people, quilting with Kami, playing guitar, telling puns, playing games and discussing theology. He was a teacher, mentor, helper, missionary and so many people loved him!
Being that Virgil's high blood pressure had been untreated, and he was suffering from brain damage due to past strokes, he did not survive his last fall which led to hospitalizing him in Intensive Care for 9 days. With the expenses of the ICU and the cost of transporting Virgil's remains from California to Wisconsin for his funeral and burial, Kami has very astronomical bills coming her way and is feeling overwhelmed with it all. She is asking anyone willing, to help financially. Even $1 and sharing this page, is a huge help. Please consider supporting Kami financially. Kami, Joshua and Rachel are incredibly grateful for your support, donations, prayers and love during this heart wrenching time.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
