Remembering Wade Bacon

Wade was ripped from our lives in a random senseless act of violence this last Wednesday, October 20th, 2021. Murdered by a woman he never met, while he was helping an elderly man with household fixes before winter settled in.

He died doing what he always did: helping others. Wade was a loving father, brother, son, and friend. He worked relentlessly his entire life to provide for himself and his family. And now our family has been left with a gaping wound that will never fully heal.

Luckily the woman who did this to him has been brought into custody and our family can find some peace knowing she is unable to hurt another family the way she has destroyed ours. However, as we are struggling to navigate through this unbearably painful loss, we are also left to deal with the financial burden of funeral costs. This gofundme was created to help cover expenses for cremation, his urn, remembrance services, etc. Any funds that may be left over after these costs will be split amongst his two children he has left behind.

Our family thanks you for any donations, all the thoughts and prayers, the flowers, food, messages, everything that has been sent our way during this horrific time in all our lives. We pray for justice for my brother, healing for our families, and protection for other families from ever having to go through a loss as traumatic as this.
