It is with great sadness that we announce the tragic and unexpected death of our beloved friend Yesenia Jimenez Linares who was only 21 years old.
She was an aspiring young lady who attended CPCC in dreams to become a teacher. Yesenia loved to work with young children and was a true Catholic Christian. She worked at the Lincolnton YMCA as a lifeguard.
She was going to work for the day April 06th, 2017 when something tragic happened and was found lifeless in the pool. When paramedics arrives, they were not able to revive her.
She leaves a confused and wounded family. She leaves behind questions nobody can answer. She leaves behind a crushed mother, grandparents, other family members and friends.
My name is Isabel Melby and I am a family friend for many years. For the past few years, Yesenia's mother and I have been going to "La Escuela de la Fe" which is a Catholic Christian based class at St. Dorothy's Catholic Church. I have also seen Yesenia grow up in our Church Family.
Let us show our support for Yesenia and her family during this challenging time both in prayer and financial support as they preapre to lay her to rest.
