Remembrance of Chong Moua Vang
Our father, Chong Moua Vang, passed away at the age of 77 on August 18, 2021 at 11:15am after a 4-year long battle with colon cancer. He fought this battle through multiple chemotherapy sessions and surgery, but has finally decided to rest. He left behind his pain and suffering, but also left behind 17 grandkids, 10 children and a loving wife. Although it hurts to see him go, he took his last breath surrounded by the ones he loved.
We wanted to keep matters as private as possible, but Hmong funeral expenses are more than we had imagined. We want to fulfill his last wish and give him the proper funeral that he wanted and that he deserves. Because of the funeral expenses, we are reaching out to the community and GoFundMe to help support this wish.
Any funding before September 10, 2021 will be greatly appreciated along with anyone able to share our post.
Chong Moua Vang was a strong, loving man and lived his life to the fullest making sure everyone felt right at home under his wing. Our father is in a happier place now and we are thankful to you all for taking a minute to read our story.
